Here is another new kitchen we recently supplied for Mr and Mrs Toulth in Harrogate. this kitchen range is a 19mm thick painted white timber kitchen door and part of our painted timber kitchen ranges.
Mr and Mrs Toulth came to our kitchen showroom in Ripon, north Yorkshire. We went through the kitchen design they had with them, we made a few alterations to improve the layout of the kitchen and swapped the square units at the end of the kitchen for splay units to soften the end of the kitchen run.
We supplied this kitchen as a rigid kitchen and it was installed by our specialist kitchen fitters.
This kitchen includes the following elements to it:- laminate worktops, laminate splash backs, two magic corner mechanisms, and splayed base units.
We are find we are selling more and more splayed kitchen units rather than curved kitchen units as they work out to be less than half the price.
We get lot of customers come into our showroom with kitchen designs that have been done from other kitchen retailers. some will have 5,6,7 curved units on. and the first thing the customer will say is
"I like the design but don't like the price."
regardless of where you buy your kitchen from the curved units will be expensive as curving a piece of wood is not a cheap process. We are more competitive than most kitchen manufactures on curved units, but splay units give the same kind of look and feel to kitchen but are less than half the price.
These are a perfect alternative to expensive curved kitchen units and still look great.
There is better storage space inside the splayed kitchen unit than a curved unit as well.
One of the other big advantages to splayed kitchen base units over curved base units is that you can fit laminate worktops on top of them, witch helps if you have a budget you need to work to witch most of us do.
If you have curved base unit you will need to have a solid surface worktop like granite, quartz, acrylic or solid timber.
This is why we are finding we are selling more and more splayed base units.
