London kitchens and UK-wide delivery
All kitchen units on our website are delivered flat-packed. This is particularly useful in the London region because of the high number of apartments and multi-level properties. If you need a kitchen delivered to the 15th floor of a block, flat-pack units are easier to carry and will take up less room to store while you wait for the units to be fitted. We provide a nationwide delivery service. This means that our London kitchens can be delivered to the capital 5 days a week.
We offer a kerbside delivery service by pallet via courier. It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of the pallet. If kerbside delivery is not appropriate for you, please contact us to discuss alternative options for delivery. No order will be dispatched until the date for delivery has been agreed with the customer. It is important that someone is on hand to accept the delivery on the agreed date. Otherwise, a re-delivery charge of £100 will be applied.
Rigid deliveries are available
If you would prefer for the kitchen to be assembled before it is delivered to your home, a rigid delivery service is also available. Prices are 10% higher than the prices quoted on website. A delivery charge of £1 per mile from HG4 5LZ is also applied. This means that delivery of London kitchens is typically around £250.
Rigid deliveries are made using our own transport and driver. Our driver will be happy to help you get your kitchen to the front door of your property. However, please note that because of insurance, our member of staff is not allowed to enter the inside of the building. Furthermore, as we only have one member of staff on our deliveries, it is important that there are at least two able-bodied and strong people on hand when the kerbside delivery is made. Delivery dates will be agreed and confirmed before dispatch by either phone or email. Depending on the area, we can normally offer a time-slot for deliveries too.
Our rigid delivery service means that new kitchen cabinets will be delivered to your home fully assembled. Any internal accessories will also pre-installed. This includes the likes of an integrated recycling bin or internal soft closing drawers. We will do the hard work and make things easier for you in any way we can.

Similarly, it is not possible to pre-drill for hinges with handleless kitchen designs. This is the integral handle determines which way the door needs to be fitted. However, when this the case, Kitchen Warehouse will supply a free hinge cutter as standard. This will allow you to drill your own holes as required on delivery.
What’s the standard size for London Kitchens?
One of the most commonly asked questions we get about our London Kitchens is about what the standard sizes are considered to be. A standard base unit is 720mm in height (excluding plinth or legs). Kitchen units tend to vary in widths. However, if they are 720mm high, it is likely that they can be considered to be ‘standard size’.
There are three standard sizes for wall units: 575mm, 720mm or 900mm. As with base units, wall units will vary in width.
If your kitchen cabinets are a standard size, the size of door you need should be slightly smaller than the size of the cabinet. For example, base cabinets that are 720mm will take a standard sized door from any London Kitchen range of 715mm in height.
This means that that if you just want to refresh your existing kitchen units with high quality replacement doors, you can.
