Modern Kitchens or Classic Kitchens

Modern Kitchen Design

At Kitchen Warehouse, we often ask our customers what kitchen styles they have implemented in their home and what kitchen accessories they are currently using. This gives us a starting point to help you when it comes to putting together our ideas for your new kitchen.

You wouldn’t expect to find a modern kitchen design in a 100-year-old thatched cottage or a stone-built barn conversion. These kinds of homes are much better suited to classic kitchens design that remains true to the character of the building. This is done not to detract from the atmosphere and charm of the home.

On the other side of the coin, you could say the same for a quayside apartment block or a new-build house. You would not expect to find a classic kitchen style with open plan racks and glass display cabinets. These kinds of properties are sleek and minimalist in appearances. They need modern kitchen units and kitchen doors to match the building and the rest of the interior of the property.

Classic Kitchen Design

Whatever the property type you live in you are sure to find something that suits its style as well as your own personal ideas. The main aim of a modern kitchen is that it needs to be functional and still have all the components that you expect in a kitchen.

For modern kitchen ideas to work properly, everything has to have its own place and go quickly behind a door or drawer front. You should leave very little on your own work surfaces, ideally nothing at all. Our range of mechanisms, which use soft closing hinges, are ideal for using store small items away to keep your surfaces clutter-free.

If you have any questions or queries to do with the latest kitchen designs or traditional kitchens, then please feel free to contact us. You can do this by calling 01765 640 000 or by emailing us at contact@kitchenwarehouseltd.com. Our helpful, knowledgeable team will be more than happy to discuss your ideas and the kitchen components you require for your new kitchen.
