The MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) in our units and doors is manufactured by Egger. Egger is a world-renowned manufacturer of high quality materials. Our solid wood range is always ethically sourced from either European oak or ash for an outstanding painted finish.
Our units are 18mm thick and the doors are at minimum 18mm thick whereas many kitchens at similar price points are just 15mm thick. Thicker widths means a more durable, robust and ultimately long-lasting kitchen.
Our backboard is also 18mm thick. Inferior units often use thinner panels. Thicker panels provide superior housing and a stronger hold for screws, dowels, and other fixings. Most of the rigidity of the housing comes from the back completing the box; a thicker back is a stronger unit.
We used only the best German soft closing hinges and drawers with mechanisms supplied from leading German manufacturers also.
