We supply a full range of kitchen worktops — laminate, solid wood, acrylic, quartz, granite and ceramic — but we don’t sell them through the website. Worktops are priced from your exact measurements, so every quote is made to order.

Why we don't list kitchen worktops online
They’re made to measure. Pricing depends on your exact plan — length, cut-outs, joins and edge details. A fixed online listing can’t account for that.
They’re difficult to ship. Full-length worktops need specialist packaging and handling. Sending them nationwide is expensive and carries a heavy carbon footprint we’d rather avoid.
Materials are best seen in person. Colour, texture and finish rarely translate to a screen. Ten minutes in the showroom saves a lot of second-guessing.

Different Styles of Worktops: An Overview
Laminate Worktops
A fibreboard or particleboard core with a decorative surface layer and protective coating. The most popular budget choice.
Pros:
- Lowest cost
- Huge choice of designs
- Very easy to clean
Cons:
- Scratches and heat-marks more easily than stone
- Not suitable for undermount sinks
Solid Wood Worktops
Solid hardwood, available in European oak, walnut, beech, sapele and wenge. A natural fit for traditional, shaker and farmhouse kitchens.
Pros:
- Warm
- Natural finish
- Can be sanded and re-oiled to look new again
- Renewable and biodegradable
Cons:
- Needs oiling and sealing to stay protected
- Marks if water is left standing
Solid Laminate Worktops
Layers of resin-impregnated paper compressed under high pressure — a tougher, thinner alternative to standard laminate.
Pros:
- Fully waterproof
- Resists scratches and stains
- Slim profile with a choice of edge details
Cons:
- Dearer than standard laminate
- Still needs protecting from hot pans
Quartz Worktops
Crushed natural quartz bound with resin — the look of stone with consistent colour throughout.
Pros:
- Extremely hard-wearing
- Non-porous and stain-resistant
- No sealing needed
Cons:
- Premium price;
- Use trivets, as it isn’t as heat-tolerant as granite or ceramic
Granite Worktops
Natural stone, cut from slab. Every piece is unique.
Pros:
- Very hard-wearing,
- Naturally heat-resistant,
- Striking natural veining.
Cons:
- Premium price;
- Needs periodic sealing;
- Heavy, so cabinetry must be strong enough.
Ceramic worktops
Ultra-compact surfaces made from quartz, porcelain and glass — including brands such as Dekton.
Pros:
- Virtually scratch-proof
- Takes hot pans directly
- UV-stable so it won’t fade
- Available in large-format slabs for near-seamless runs
Cons:
- Premium price
- Heavy
- Requires specialist cutting and fitting
