And, to ensure that all tastes are catered for, you can go slightly darker still with the Modern Shaker range – in the shape of the captivating dark tones of Graphite and Indigo.
The Modern Shaker range showcases a 22mm PVC Shaker door. Wood grain is embossed into the PVC giving it a look of painted timber, but at the fraction of the cost that you would be looking at for a painted real wood kitchen. The Modern Shaker kitchen units offer stunning looks, but they are also extremely durable and hard-wearing – certainly able to withstand the rigours of modern family life.
A close cousin of our popular Luxury Shaker units, the Modern Shaker doors are constructed from 5 individual pieces, in the time-honoured tradition of solid timber door manufacture. However, although the construction of the doors is identical, the devil is always in the detail. The Luxury Shaker door features a chunky outer frame that is 120mm wide. It has no moulding or detailing around the inside edge of the Shaker frame. In contrast, Modern Shaker features a 93mm outer frame with small chamfered detail on the inside edge of the Shaker frame.

All Modern Shaker kitchen units bought through the website are home delivered flat-packed. The kitchen units are 18mm thick and come with easy-to-follow instructions. All Modern Shaker base units feature height adjustable legs, and all Modern Shaker wall units come supplied with adjustable wall fixing plates and hanging brackets. Similarly, for ease, all Modern Shaker doors are delivered with pre-drilled hinge holes.
