When you order kitchen units online through our website, we will deliver them to you flat-packed as standard. Your replacement kitchen units will come with all the necessary components for easy assembly. We even pre-drill most doors ready for fitting the hinges, making construction even faster.
Flat-pack kitchens are easier for us to transport and for you to manoeuvre into your home, which is why they’re cheaper. Some products do have an upgrade option, allowing you to order a pre-constructed rigid kitchen for an additional fee. This means the Kitchen Warehouse team will fully assemble the units before delivering them to you.
Would you like to save even more time and money when it comes to building your dream kitchen? Whether you order an integrated recycling bin or a corner mechanism, or pull-out larder mechanism, we offer a Rigid Build service for kitchen accessories.
Kitchen Warehouse can build every element for you, so any internal mechanisms are all set up when the kitchen cabinets arrive. This means each complete kitchen unit is ready to go right into the kitchen for quick fitting, reducing the installation time and disruption.
The option to request pre-fitting is only available for rigid kitchen units with a minimum order value of £2,500 for delivery within 60 miles of HG4 5LZ. This service costs an additional 10% on top of the price of a flat-pack order, but there is a cap of £5,000 – so you won’t pay more than £500 if your order value is higher than this. These values are calculated prior to the separate shipping costs.
When you order flat-packed kitchen units, an external courier company will deliver them to you. If you choose our rigid kitchen pre-fitting service, we will deliver your order ourselves using our own transport. There will only be one driver, so there must be at least two strong, able-bodied adults present to accept the delivery – all kitchen cabinet orders are for kerbside delivery only.
If this isn’t viable and you require an assisted delivery or a particular time slot, please contact us before placing an order so we can discuss your options. Depending on the situation and the location, we might be able to arrange delivery into the property. We may also offer an installation service.
We don’t dispatch orders until we confirm the details with the customer and set a delivery date. This is usually via email, but we may confirm our own deliveries for rigid kitchen replacement units over the phone. Please ensure that someone is at the address to accept the kerbside delivery on the agreed date. In the case of a failed delivery where a second attempt is necessary, it costs an extra £100.

At Kitchen Warehouse, our ‘standard’ units are 720mm in height – not including legs, plinths, or kickboards. There are several widths available for this height, which we display as height x width in the product listings.
As you’ll see when browsing the units for a particular design, we also stock alternative sizes such as low-height kitchen units and extra tall kitchen units. Depending on the style, the short kitchen units are usually 575mm high and tall kitchen units are usually 900mm high, with varying widths available.
If your kitchen doesn’t fit any of our unit sizes, we offer a custom measure and design service within 20 miles of our HG4 5LZ postcode. Not all replacement kitchen units can be made to measure, but the designs that we can work with include gloss acrylic colours, matt acrylic colours, and some luxury Shaker-style units. These may look slightly different to the photographs shown on our website.
We recommend that our customers hire a local company to carry out a measure and design service before bringing the plans to Kitchen Warehouse to get a quote. This way, we can provide a genuine manufacturer’s quotation rather than a retail quote and make any necessary but minor alterations to the design. Doing this will help to reduce both the cost and the turnaround time for your order.

We recommend getting a local company to measure your kitchen and create a design plan for you, as they will have professional equipment and achieve the most accurate measurements. However, if you’d rather measure your kitchen yourself, the Kitchen Warehouse team has a selection of ‘how to’ videos. This includes visual guides on how to measure kitchen units and make a plan.
If you’re supplying your own kitchen plan to us, please double-check that measurements between corners and windows are correct first. Otherwise, we won’t be able to provide a kitchen that fits properly. You can either email your measurements and plan to contact@kitchenwarehouseltd.com or bring a copy with you when you visit our showroom to speak to a member of our team in person.
