Background

We heard about Kitchen Warehouse through one of our neighbours but wanted to look at all the options available, so visited 2 other specialist kitchen designers/fitters prior to a decision being made.

Through consultations with all 3 providers we chose Kitchen Warehouse because of a number of factors including quality, design and cost. The one factor which was the final decision maker was simply that the team were very willing to listen to our needs and requests but gave sound advice when necessary.

Important decision

You do not completely redesign/install a new kitchen very often in life so you have to make sure that you are selecting the right trustworthy team – Kitchen Warehouse made that decision very easy.

We wanted a very modern sleek look without clutter which works well for cooking, eating, entertaining as well as relaxing.

Favourites

Some of our favourites are…

• Wine & Gin fridges (we pushed the boat out on these!)
• Main fridge/freezer with ice maker
• Coffee Bar (the teenager loves having friends round)
• Underfloor Heating and sparkly black floor tiles
• The 3 separate LED dimmer lighting systems – ceiling, worktop and floor – to give different mood lighting
• Hidden boiler, built – in washing machine, dryer and dishwasher

We love it all really – so those are just the stand-out bits. All in all it’s a great space to cook, entertain and relax. Our Hogmanay parties are particularly enjoyable!

The team

We were concerned as we had not employed a project manager to coordinate the project there might be problems – no worries though as Dan and his team coordinated all the different service installers who worked seamlessly throughout the period of the project.

Inevitably there will be disruption on such a large scale of work (building work had to involve incorporating old outbuildings into the kitchen). However Dan and his team kept this at manageable levels and we were kept up-to-date at all times during the project.

Through Kitchen Warehouse we believe we have created something very special and unique. Kitchens are places where the family can meet, greet and enjoy the space available and we enjoy ours all the time.

We would have no fear in therefore recommending Kitchen Warehouse to any one wanting to create their own unique space.
