When planning our extension, the main focus was going on the kitchen dinner. My work as a food stylist means that the kitchen needed to work as a family kitchen but also function as a working kitchen.

I did a huge amount of research before choosing Kitchen Warehouse for my kitchen. I had spent a long time creating mood boards and collecting photos from magazines and I worked with Daniel at Kitchen Warehouse to work my ideas into a practical, stylish design. I had a clear vision about the look and feel and used high end kitchens as inspiration.

I had strong ideas about layout and unit configuration, however Daniel was invaluable in terms of knowledge and advice, thinking through all the awkward corners of my kitchen I had not imagined.

I have a keen eye for detail and Daniel tweaked minor style elements in my kitchen that were important to me, for example sourcing handmade wine rack supports. Details such as pull out bins, separate recycling bins, deep draws and pull out slim cupboards make practical solutions work in for everyday use whilst maximising storage.

I was set on colour choices, however being able to borrow door samples meant that I actually changed my colour choice after being able to see the unit with the flooring and light in my space.

Daniel was always on the other end of my emails to answer questions (and I had many!) and gave me a huge amount of confidence that I had made the correct choices – fitting a kitchen is an investment and I didn’t want to get it wrong.

I opted to have Kitchen Warehouse fit my kitchen on the recommendation of my builder. Ben fitted the kitchen and was superb. I have an eye for detail, but Ben is a perfectionist!

I could not be happier with the build quality and practicality of my kitchen. I have a beautiful space which functions as the heart of the home and as a working kitchen when needed.

The service and advice I received was first class and I feel I have a beautiful kitchen without the premium price tag.

Kitchen Warehouse have subsequently fitted my utility room to the same standard and attention to detail even though this has been a much smaller project.

Pop in, have a cup of coffee and take ideas and inspiration, I cannot recommend the service I received highly enough.
