”I would recommend a visit to the Kitchen Warehouse to anyone looking for a good quality well priced kitchen, nothing was too much trouble & Simon even arranged an appointment with a granite worktop supplier. It was an all-round wonderful experience.”

This kitchen is one of our hand painted shaker kitchens from the Roma shaker kitchen Range. The colour of this kitchen is powder blue.

I have to admit; I was so impressed when I walked into Mr Galer’s new kitchen. The look and the feel of the kitchen was amazing. This will have been one of the nicest living spaces I have been in for a long while, everything worked beautifully, every item in this kitchen and dining area really complemented each other.

Mrs Galer had a clear vison of what she wanted her open plan kitchen to look like when it was finished. She wanted to achieve an elegant shabby chic style kitchen with a strong bold colour scheme, which I felt was a brave decision but could be stunning if it was executed in the right manor. I have to admit I think she has really nailed it, for me it is all the finishing touches that bring this space together and make it work as well as it does.

I feel this works so well because of how they have tied the colours in with each other, the colour of the paint on the walls complements the paint colour of the kitchen units, then the colour of the white quartz worktops is complemented by the colour of the flooring. This is a brilliant example of how to do a bold kitchen colour correctly. There are so many elements of this kitchen that I like; I think they have done a great job of using modern kitchen materials like the white mirror quartz mixed together with traditional kitchen materials like the Belfast sink and traditional handles. The way Mrs Galer has dressed the kitchen and dining room with little plaques and pictures completes the shabby chic look for me. The only thing that disappoints me about this lovely kitchen is the fact that we did not install this kitchen, it was a supply only job and they used their own local kitchen fitter, I would have been very pleased to say we installed this kitchen as well as supplied it.
