Drawer Lined Kitchen Units

Drawer lined kitchen units are the perfect combination of bulky storage for large kitchen equipment with sleek drawer storage for cutlery and other small items.

And whatever style, colour or finish you’re looking for in a kitchen unit, we guarantee you’ll find what you’re looking for here at Kitchen Warehouse.

What is a drawer lined base unit?

A drawer lined base unit combines a kitchen cupboard with a built-in pull-out drawer at the top. This style of base unit can provide much-needed additional storage without extra space.

A drawer lined base unit is highly convenient because it means you can store your bulky equipment as usual while keeping smaller items like your cutlery drawer in the same place.

As well as being functional, drawer lined base units are sleek and stylish, fitting in with any kitchen design or layout you want.

With a standard height of 720mm, plus 150mm adjustable legs, and a range of widths from 150mm to 1200mm, there’s a drawer line cabinet to fit every kitchen space.

Drawer lined kitchen units designed for style, built to last

At Kitchen Warehouse, we ensure design and style play a big part in developing our kitchen units, but they’re also made to last and withstand heavy use.

We guarantee you’ll find the perfect drawer lined cabinet in our varied collection, whether you want a narrow, single-drawer kitchen unit or a double-width multi-drawer unit with no cupboard space.

Best accessories for drawer line kitchen units

Our impressive range not only comprises kitchen units and replacement kitchen doors, but includes various accessories to improve your kitchen's functionality.

Why not look at our drawer inserts for your drawer line kitchen units? Whether you need plastic cutlery trays, or glass sides for your drawers, you’ll find it here.

Drawer line Kitchen Unit FAQs

What’s the difference between highline and drawer line units?

highline kitchen unit differs from the drawer line format by not having a top drawer. Instead, highline kitchen units focus on cupboard space, usually containing two shelves behind one-panel door. Since there isn’t a drawer, the cupboard reaches the top of the unit, hence the ‘high line’.

Drawer line units are commonly seen in shaker kitchens and other traditional styles, where utility is the most important factor. Highline base units are a popular choice for modern kitchens, like the handleless high gloss style, because they allow you to maintain a minimalist look with slab doors.

If you’re wondering which type is better, there’s no right or wrong answer regarding kitchen units. The best type for your kitchen depends on your design preferences and how you intend to use them. Whether you prefer the practicality of a combination of drawers and cupboards or like the clean lines of uninterrupted cabinet doors, the choice is yours – both types have their advantages.

Which drawer line kitchen unit sizes do you supply?

The standard height is 720mm, plus an extra 150mm, thanks to the adjustable legs, allowing you to raise this height to 870mm if you wish. The standard depth is 560mm, regardless of the width or number of drawers.

If you can’t find a drawer line kitchen unit or multi-drawer base unit with the correct measurements, you may be able to request a custom order for an added fee. See the FAQ below for more details.

Are custom widths and depths available for drawer line base units?

Our drawer line kitchen base units come in a set of standard sizes. The height is slightly customisable due to the adjustable legs, but the depth remains at 560mm for each unit. There are 11 different widths available, so one of our standard-size drawer line units will likely fit your kitchen.

If you can’t find a drawer line cabinet with the correct dimensions for your kitchen, get in touch with us to discuss your options for custom cabinets. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on a design you love just because the standard sizes don’t fit your kitchen measurements.

Unfortunately, not all of our designs are customisable, but we can produce made-to-measure kitchen units in the Luxury Shaker and Acrylic styles. So, if you’re interested in drawer line base units with a custom depth and width, send us your specifications, and we’ll see what we can do.
